Subject: GUI designer wanted
At the moment I'm working on PN 2.0. This comes with lot's of new options. The user will be able to choose between HTML and text-mail, choose to get weekly digests and subscribe to comments (either by topic or post). Unfortunately I'm not a very good GUI designer. I don't care too much for the backend, as I assume that those people are admins. But the frontend should be usable by dummies. I'm therefore looking for someone supporting me with this task.

What kind of help do you need exactly?

I need someone to build me a HTML-framework. Basically I will have lot's of options. Basically i'll need some kind if subscribe-page and once you subscribe a few options:

General Options:
  • Weekly digest: yes/no
  • HTML/TEXT mail
  • Subscirbe to Comments with/out confirmation
  • Automatically subscribe to comments when commenting.
  • Unsubscribe

Subscribe to posts:
  • This will probably stay the same

Comments:
  • Subscribe to same categories as post
  • Subscribe to special Categories
  • List subscribed Posts / Unsubscribe from them.

What really gives me a bit of an headache are the comments. I'm not sure whether to put them on one or wo pages. The user has quite a bit of options: Automatically subscribe to them, because they are in a special category. Or subscribe to them explicitly.

Also I'm not sure whether to put them on one page or several pages. Also I'm a big fan of ajax, but don't like solutions that don't work without.

Another point I'm thinking of is my template design. At the moment they are very flexible and I think anyone with minimal HTML knowledge can adjust them. With the frontend getting more complex I can either keep the way it is at the moment, but limit the adjustments (e.g. It will not possible to put everything on one page) or switch to something like WP uses. Which in will request some php knowledge to adjust pages.
