Subject: including text on main subscription page
Hi again,

I want to include a short explanatory text on the main subscription page that doesn't show up on any other pages like confirmation or category changes pages. First I have put that text into the actual page with WP but that showed up on all Post Notification pages.

Could you please tell me where to insert that text to show up only on the main page? I assume it's somewhere in the frontend.php file but not sure.

Thanks in advance,
Norbert

You can just adjust the stings in the strings.php. php supports multiline so it can look like this:
  1. <?php
  2. $somestring = "a lot of text
  3. going on in the next
  4. line....";
  5. ?>

I am sorry but I am confused. Perhaps I wasn't clear with my request:
I want to include a text to the very homepage of Post Notifications - the "Frontend" - right under the page name and before the email input box and all the other stuff (category choices, capthca). Something like this:
Here you can sign up for receiving email notifications of new posts on our blog. This is a great alternative if you are not familiar or don't want to bother with RSS feeds.
This wouldn't go to a generated page where (as I understand) some strings from the strings.php file is called. And if I actually can put this message there, I assume that I have to insert some corresponding code into frontend.php, don't I?

I am sorry but I am not really proficient with php so I do need a full instruction on how to do this.

Thanks in advance,
Norbert

Stupid me! You have to adjust the subscribe.tmpl, of course!
Have a look at the instructions - number 4.
