Subject: subscription verification page content
Hi again,

I've been testing the different functions/pages of the plug-in and have the following questions:

- When I click on the confirmation link on the email sent to a subscriber it takes me to my subscription page but it doesn't actually have any confirmation message there, something like "thank you for confirming your subscription - now you are fully subscribed" or similar message. It lists my subscription options but not whether the subscription was actually successful. While I might know that it was but perhaps not all people subscribing will - it's better to think from a 'dummy' perspective to anticipate people's action. So is it possible to include something like that when someone clicks on the subscription confirmation email? If you tell me where to put in a message like that then I could probably do it.

- Similar issue with updating category subscription information: it doesn't confirm it. It does confirm if you unsubscribe - is it possible to do the same with category changes?

Thanks in advance,
Norbert

There should be a settings saved message. You can change it by adjusting the $post_notification_strings['saved'] string in the strings.php or your selected profile.

AH; I've found the problem: the message was there but my WP theme had the h3 tag display in white on a white background (I am still unbugging the theme) so I just couldn't see the message.

Connected question: now that I see the message the same 'The settings were saved.' message comes up both when I confirm a subscription and when I change the settings. I do see a line in the strings.php file for 'activated' but that's not what shows up at activation:

'activated' => 'Activation successful',
'saved' => 'The settings were saved.',

How do I actually have that line show up when someone clicks on that activation link in the email?

Thanks in advance,
Norbert

You have to adjust line134 in the frontend.php.

Thanks, that worked great! See my other question in a new post.
